Amos in Burundi
In Burundi, Amos was born with clubfoot, leaving his parents worried about his future. They learned about Hope Walks through a neighbor and began treatment in November 2022.
Traveling long distances for weekly cast changes was challenging, but the family’s determination never wavered. “The hardest part was the casting phase,” they shared, “but seeing his feet corrected brought immense joy.”
Counseling sessions provided spiritual and emotional support, helping them stay committed. Today, Amos walks on straight feet, indistinguishable from his peers. “We are so happy,” his parents said. “It’s as if he was never born with clubfoot.”
