Anderson in the Dominican Republic

Anderson is a typical teenager, finishing high school with dreams and goals and enjoying life like any other young person. But his clubfoot journey began when he was only one month old.

For six months, Anderson received unsuccessful treatment. That’s when he was referred to a Hope Walks partner clinic.

A tenotomy and a series of casts and braces helped him walk without limitations. His story reflects what Hope Walks continues to bring to the world: hope, freedom, and the certainty of a future without barriers.

We love seeing the children we’ve treated with donor support as they grow up. It’s a testimony to the impact donors make well beyond the initial treatment phases.
