Solomon serves as the Digital Health System Specialist at Hope Walks. He is a public health specialist with more than 15 years of experience in government institutions, working in public health, epidemiology and health systems.
In his current role supporting the global office, Solomon supports, manages and optimizes the DHIS2/PATH system for the Hope Walks Global program. This is the system used to track patient data and progress.
Solomon joined Hope Walks Ethiopia in July 2021 as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist before transitioning into his global support role.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science from Addis Ababa University and a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology from St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College. He lives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with his wife and three children.
