Hope Walks is a Christian nonprofit that provides clubfoot treatment to children using the gold-standard Ponseti method. Clubfoot is a treatable birth defect that twists the feet inward and downward. Left untreated, clubfoot makes it difficult or impossible to walk. The Ponseti method is a minimally-invasive procedure using casts and braces to slowly correct the feet in young children.

He has experience as a project manager at the grassroots level, country director, leading global field operations, and serving in other senior leadership positions at World Vision International.
Having lived and worked in four field-based positions and visited programs in more than 50 countries, Sarma brings deep experience in field programming and program delivery. He has a Ph.D. in Development Studies from the Middlesex University in London and the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies, UK.
He and his wife, Saro, have two adult children who live on the East Coast.
