Christine serves as Global Programs Finance Officer, providing strategic financial oversight for Hope Walks programs globally. She leads cross-regional financial reporting, supports budgeting and audit management, and works closely with program managers and regional directors to strengthen financial systems and capacity.
She joined Hope Walks in 2023 as Regional Finance & Administration Assistant for both the African region and the Kenya program. Before Hope Walks, Christine spent over a decade with Compassion International, serving as project director and, before that, financial accountant. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA K). She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Kabarak University, and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Social Impact Analytics at the University of San Francisco.
Christine’s motivation for working for Hope Walks is knowing that a child born with clubfoot can be fully corrected and restored to a life of walking, playing and thriving alongside their family. Outside of work, she volunteers with Scripture Union of Kenya in Youth and Teens coaching; she enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and their three children.
