Andrew serves as the Director of Spiritual Integration at Hope Walks, where he is responsible for providing spiritual direction, leadership and discipleship for both the programs and staff. In this role, he plays a critical part in developing and mentoring our global team while coordinating and standardizing our spiritual ministry and partnerships to proclaim our hope in Christ across our initiatives.
Before joining Hope Walks, Andrew worked at World Vision Kenya as the Spiritual Nurture Coordinator, overseeing the spiritual nurture programs for Children and Staff, and as the Church Partnerships Coordinator. He has also held positions as an Associate Pastor of Missions and Church Planting at the International Christian Centre in Nairobi, as the National Field Coordinator for the Kenya Students Christian Fellowship (KSCF). As the Spiritual Formation and Leadership Development Coordinator at the Fellowship of Christian Unions (FOCUS), KSCF and FOCUS are the largest student umbrella movements in Kenya, reaching both high school and university students, respectively.
In addition to his passion for spiritual formation, discipleship, faith integration and leadership within humanitarian and faith-based organizations, Andrew enjoys gardening, reading spiritual literature, and listening to biblically inspired music that expresses the vast and sacrificial love of God, mercy and the gift of salvation for a lost humanity.
Andrew holds a master’s degree in Contextualized Pastoral Ministry from Lancaster Bible College in Pennsylvania, USA and a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition, with a major in nutrition-medical therapy, from Meru University in Kenya.
