Lizzy serves as Grants Coordinator for Hope Walks. Before joining the team, Lizzy worked with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, coordinating and providing technical assistance to global and domestic capacity-building programs. She was interested in working with Hope Walks because of the organization’s mission and approach to sustainable programming and impact. She has also worked for CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health and Church World Service. She has a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Millersville University and a master’s of public health from the Penn State College of Medicine.
Lizzy also serves as the Director of Music for her local church in Reisterstown, Maryland. She lives with her husband, Daniel, and mini-goldendoodle Luka. She is an avid reader, sometimes traveler, and enjoys lifting weights at the gym.
