Kevin serves as the executive pastor of The District Church, a global congregation in the heart of Washington, DC. He has been in ministry since 2005, leading congregations in Uganda and Kenya and overseeing other congregations in several African countries before moving with his family to Washington, DC.
He lives out a consistent mission for the people he shepherds to grow closer each day to whom God has called them to be. He has an innate gift of leadership that God has used to mobilize his people, compellingly present the gospel, and maximize the resources allocated.
Kevin has had the privilege of working with leaders worldwide to advance God’s mission. For a decade, he was the team leader of an annual gathering, which brought thousands of church and marketplace leaders from all continents, passionate about bringing godly change in every sector of society. Kevin is currently part of the leadership of the Global Convene, which gathers leaders of all generations from all continents to achieve the Great Commission. Leadership and the transformation of people to become who God desires them to be is at the core of who he is.
Beyond the pulpit and leading the staff, he savors life’s flavors, finding joy in the art of cooking, cheering on Arsenal Football Club with unwavering enthusiasm, finding joy in the melody of cars, and experiencing God’s creativity through travel. He is married to Lucy, and they have two boys, Keitah and Keshon.
