Our first Marin Walk in 2009 was a great success and  raised more than $28,000 for Children of Strength in Kenya. Children of Strength was created to help children in the Kilimambogo area of Kenya, about 60 miles northeast of Nairobi, overcome the devastating affects on their lives from the HIV/AIDS epidemic and widespread poverty. The program supports over 400 orphans and other vulnerable children through individual sponsorships which provide food, clothing, education, and medical care.
